-Andrew Stanton, "A Story" & "Somewhere in the Arctic", which helped him secure his post at the legendary Pixar Animation Studios.

Theatrically premiered first shorts including student works by:

-John Lasseter, "Tin Toy", "Lady and the Lamp" & "Nightmare"

Including first screenings of:

- "The Adventures of Andre and Wally B"

- "Luxo Jr."

- "Reds Dream"

- "Knick Knack"

- "Geri's Game"

- "For the Birds"

It all started in 1977 with Spike & Mike’s Festival of Animation and later the popular and infamous Spike & Mike’s Sick & Twisted.   What Spike & Mike have accomplished is quite remarkable, if you really think about it.  Creating a whole COTTAGE INDUSTRY producing, promoting & distributing their own theatrical as well as their own funding, marketing, 35mm lab conversion, producing many of their own shorts, creating yearly sequels that are as good or better than the previous year all without a publicist. US theatrical premiers that include Wallace & Gromit, Beavis & Butthead, the first films of Shane Acker, Andrew Stanton, John Lasseter, Pixar, Bill Plympton, Danny Antonucci, Eric Fogel, Breehn Burns, Tim Burton, Brad Bird, Pete Docter, Chris Wedge, Kenn Navarro, Marv Newland, Mike Johnson & Nick Park.

They created a 90 min feature out of shorts by branding it Spike & Mike’s Sick & Twisted or Spike & Mike’s Festival of Animation the movie.

Spike & Mike have also appeared at the Cannes Film Festival, San Diego International Comic Convention, Annecy Animation Festival, KORN Tour, Stuttgart, AnimaMundi, Taiwan Animation Festival, Sundance Film Festival, Slamdance and etc.

Spike, now on his own after Mike passed away in 1994, is always searching for the next great talent, acquiring films daily and exploring opportunities on the internet, starting with his ass-kicking new website. They hope to develop series and features based on content in their extensive library using the Spike and Mike and Sick and Twisted brands. Spike and Mike will NEVER go away!!!
